For over 40 years, Jim Good has been playing and making dulcimers in the hills north of Charleston, West Virginia, an area noted for its folk musicians and musical heritage.
Mastertone Dulcimers are made of native hardwoods such as walnut, butternut, cedar, maple, red elm, cherry, chestnut, sassafras, and paulownia, as well as various exotic woods such as padauk, zebrawood and bubinga. Only top grade, kiln-dried wood is used, to minimize the effects of humidity and temperature on each instrument.
Stop by and try a Jim B Good dulcimer, and make some 'sweet music' for yourself!
